Maybe i just focus better in pancake houses, or maybe it's using am hp calculator with rpn instead of the ti but i am flying through these now.
Exactly one week before exams, and my calculator gets wet.
There is a leak in the roof directly above my desk, but there is usually no problem except during a bad thunderstorm, in which case I move everything and place a bucket underneath.
I have the battery removed and it's sitting in a cup with the last of my Jasmine rice. I'll buy more to top it off. Tomorrow I'll try again.
In the mean time I'll practice with a calculator not allowed on the exams (but actually less capable for finance problems).

I would start giving out my telephone number the old fashioned way, giving the first two digits as letters and the rest as a number (Such as PE 6-5000 - Pennsylvania 6 5000 from the famous song (the number still works)) but the first two digits are 40 (0 doesn't have any letters). I could use the 63 from my area code (some combination of {m,n,o} and {d,e,f}, but nont of the combinations appeal to me) but that's not really authentic.
If I ever change my number again, and I'm still in the US, then I'll try to get one where the prefix letters correspond to my city of residence. I could set up a google voice number . . .
Of course there is the question of people understanding what I'm telling them, but I've never worried about that before.
Holy shit! The panel weather thingy says light snow! I look forward to seeing this!
OK, long enough break. Back to work.
